Vendor Spotlight:
Dapper Images Boutique Studio
We sat down with Deshun & Yasmine from Dapper Images Boutique Studio for a little Q & A...
Q: How did the two of you meet, and come to be a husband and wife team?
Yasmine: We met in fashion class, we were both fashion majors in college, and we had a project together in one of our classes, and this was before we even got interested in photography.
Deshun: I took an elective in photography a few months later, my love for photographing people emerged, and I found that I would love to integrate fashion in my photography.
Yasmine: After photographing some of our friends' weddings, we knew the direction we wanted our careers and lifestyles to head.
Q: How long have you been photographing weddings, are you full-time photographers?
Deshun: After college we both worked in the fashion industry.
Yasmine: But in time we let go of our full-time fashion jobs and committed ourselves to photography full-time! We've now been photographing weddings for 9 years and have captured over 300 weddings together!
Deshun: We love how our fashion background influences our style of photography, we find that our couples appreciate our editorial approach.
Q: What do you love most about being a wedding photographer?
Yasmine: I love getting to meet new people, and I especially get excited when seeing the bride's dress, shoes, all the wedding details really, seeing how it all came together so beautifully.
Deshun: Creating a fun atmosphere is important to me, it's one of my strong points so I enjoy befriending the families and making sure everyone is having a good time in front of my camera. We aim to exceed our clients' expectations, and when we're told that we have, and we get the happy tears and the encouraging feedback after the couple has seen the finished collection of images, it just confirms that we've truly succeeded in what we do.
Yasmine: So, we hope you'll come by and visit our boutique studio and learn more about us, we'd love to learn more about your wedding too!
