Raj Tents was founded in 2004, in the San Francisco Bay Area, by business partners Dominic Mitchell and Maurice Walsh, who saw that there was a conspicuous absence of thematic luxury tenting available to the U.S. Special Events Industry. Raj Tents specializes in Social, Corporate, Non-Profit, Wedding and Destination luxury tent installations in the US and worldwide. In 2006 Raj Tents became business members of the Set Decorators Society of America and have provided thematic tenting for many popular movies and TV shows including: Pirates of the Caribbean, Little Fockers, Bridesmaids, CSI Miami, Californication, Desperate Housewives, 90210, Royal Pains and The Big Bang Theory.
Throughout their history, Raj Tents have continuously innovated, staying true to Mitchell and Walsh’s original aim "To bring breathtaking Luxury Tenting to the Special Events Industry."
