Inspiration Thursday: Botanical Bliss

Breath taking views, vibrant colors and an amazing family run winery in Temecula were all inspirations in conceptualizing this beautiful, vibrant botanical styled shoot.

Wedding planner Diana Ross of Celebrations by Di & Co. along with her team of talented professionals wanted to bring the feel of a vineyard indoors. From the gracefully draped ceremony site to the panoramic window lined barrel room every inch of this remarkable winery was integrated with drama and sophistication.

Sensual shades of deep fig, and plum were highlighted with subtle splashes of peach and gold offsetting the warm tones of natural wood and organic greenery were used throughout to encapsulate the entire shoot; reflecting one cohesive “Napa-esque” design concept.

Unique new trends in weddings are for the bride and groom to host a cocktail hour before the ceremony. The team's modern urban lounge area designed by stylist and vintage prop rental company Madam Palooza Emporium was planned to provide a comfortable and welcoming opportunity for guests to relax and get in the mood for the poignant ceremony to come. Espresso bars, dessert stations and photo booths provide another opportunity to add interactive personalized memories to the event.

Their vintage rental company not only rents props and styles weddings they also build one-of-a-kind exceptional backdrops. To achieve the desire to bring the vineyards indoors a 10 foot pergola was built using 100 year old wood. The wood was then draped with cascading lush greenery and foliage both foraged from florist Sweet Flowers weddings and events personal acreage. It doesn’t get any more organic than that!

Adding chandeliers to the pergola was the perfect way to combine nature and elegance to the grand scale family style Kings table which we embellished with edible place settings of bread and olives on a natural dark wood farm table. Set with white washed chargers and crystal stemware the look was at once striking and distinctive.

Perhaps the pièce de résistance was the Cerulean blue feature wall that caught their eye as they entered through the 20’ dramatic arched wood doors of the winery. The most stunning aspect of the day included a classic vintage white wood table framed with white columns adorned with greenery and white blossoms draped like glossy pearls over 3 perfect petite tiered cakes. The team's second florist brought this piece to life. And to complete the dessert table a Champagne bubbly bar was added. POP-FIZZ-CLINK champagne is always a good idea. Photographer Lilia Parker of L Parker Photography captured the essence of all that was beautiful about this day.
