Inspiration Thursday: Vow Renewal at a Brewery!

5/16/2016  |  The Brew Project

It has been said that the best relationships begin with friendship. When it comes to this breathtaking couple, that could not be more true. Becky and Jesse, although both from the same neighborhood of sunny San Diego originally, met on another continent altogether. They had left their full-time jobs to take on a new adventure with a non-profit in Paarl, South Africa. There, working side-by-side, their banter and mutual laughter led to a fast friendship. Somewhere along the way, however, friendship got flirty. Their comradery blossomed into love. Adventurous and goofy, this pair grew to become much more than just partners in life. They became husband and wife and partners in business: co-founding their business coaching organization, Idea Lust Life. Whether taking on dates or new clients, they continued to experience one adventure after another. In the blink of an eye, this heartwarming duo had already taken on years of love, adventure and career success.

To reflect on the years gone by and those to come, they decided to celebrate with an anniversary brunch to really cheers to. Pampering the smart and beautiful, Becky the morning of the celebration, Becky was treated to a full bridal beauty experience, reminiscent of her own wedding day. She donned a beautiful gown and breathtaking accessories from Elle Bridal Boutique. Her hair was transformed into a magnificent updo by Shalon Shear Envy Pacific Beach and makeup done to perfection by All Frills Beauty. Such pampering was far better than imagined as she was feeling like a queen. Then came the time came for the guests to arrive. An anniversary celebration worth toasting to with good food, good friends, and a good atmosphere. These were the main components that made Becky and Jesse’s wedding anniversary brunch so special. Becky and Jesse invited friends and family to this celebration at The Brew Project, a beautiful venue in the Hillcrest neighborhood in San Diego.

Upon entering, it was immediately evident that everything was planned to perfection. From Becky’s fabulous heels a la Ella Belle Shoes to the Simple Presse Design stationery that had everyone ready to revert from email to letter writing, each aspect of this anniversary brunch event embodied this couple’s love and the light-hearted celebration they dreamed of. It was the little things provided by each vendor that truly pulled this event together. As Charles Eames once said, "the details are not the details. They make the design." Such details included the beauty of the table design from Not My Dish. The party goods that had everyone asking for the company’s business card were provided by Starry Eyed Event San Diego. The drop dead gorgeous gifting of Gaspara Floral. The magnificent flowers provided by Lovely Blooms Florals. Each of the well-planned visual aesthetics were key of capturing the love and celebration of Becky and Jesse’s love. This happy couple ensured their guests’ taste buds were celebrating too. Treats, especially the sigh-inducing cake, from Simply Carrot Cakes put the cherry on top of the event. The event designer, Empire Design Events, pulled all the details together was the overarching creative director. When event design is your passion, you put your heart and soul into every event you create. For this one, it was all about celebrating Becky and Jesse’s adventurous, loving relationship...and was exactly what happened.

A toast to that - and to the happy couple, Becky & Jesse!
