Wedding Wednesday: Nytasha and Joe

  3/12/2016  | Moniker Warehouse

Nytasha and Joe held a completely DIY wedding with a "Gatsby goes to Coachella" theme! It was complete with Star Wars accents, cheesecake, glow sticks, and pops of purple and blue. The hanging lights in their venue lit up the night making it magical, but nothing could outshine this bride.

Wedding Wednesday: Dana & Alex

  10/8/16  |  Darlington House

Dana and Alex Lopez wanted a classic romantic theme for their wedding but insisted on incorporating personalized elements to make their big day special. The ceremony took on a "home-y" feeling at the Darlington House and the reception tables continued the theme by all being named after the streets that they or their family have lived on. They decorated with light purple and blue lights as well as some of their favorite toys for their guests to enjoy.

Ask Abby: How to Prevent Flower Girl and Ring Bearer Meltdowns on Wedding Day

1) Practice makes perfect-During your rehearsal, make sure to spend some time explaining to the younger members of the wedding party what their role is and how it's done. Practice makes perfect so if you want to go through the rehearsal a couple times, that won't hurt!

2) Use a variety of ages- If your flower girl is 2 years old and adorable, but also happens to have a 6 year old sister, it may help to have both of them as your flower girls! The older one can help the younger one down the aisle and two flower girls just means double the cuteness!

3) Props save the day! When it comes to the ring box or the flower basket, having something to do with their hands will help them feel more confident in their role in your wedding and less likely to get distracted.

4) Don't stress! If they do get distracted walking down the aisle, it's normally a cute moment, makes for funny photos and a great laugh!
