Details with a personalized touch make a wedding more your own. A coffee bar at your wedding reception is perfect for a brunch reception, a fun alternative to alcohol for evening and can stand on its own or as part of a dessert display. There are some fantastic local coffee companies that will bring a gourmet coffee bar to you, complete with baristas who will whip up cappuccinos, lattes and espressos for your guests. But if you're more of a DIY bride, here is a list of things you'll need to create your own coffee bar at your reception:
Coffee - and lots of it. Offer different flavors and types of coffee. These can be your favorites, coffees from countries you have visited, or coffees that pair with your brunch or dessert.
Coffee Dispensers - You can rent fancy dispensers at any party rental company or use your own. If you throw parties, you can register for a coffee dispenser on your gift registry and use it for the first time at your wedding.
Cups - There are two options for coffee cups - coffee mugs or disposable cups. Mugs can be personalized and used as wedding favors. If you use disposable cups, those can be custom printed with your names and wedding date or you can customize cardboard sleeves to put around the cups.
Cream + Sugar - Make sure to have different options and flavors of cream and sugar to mix in the coffee. And don't forget stirrers and a basket or cup for trash.
Mix-ins - This is where you can get really creative. Guests will love the option of adding whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, and flavored syrups to their cups.
