Real Wedding: Sarah and Chris, Family Estate

A beautiful backyard wedding at the home of the bride's family is what Sarah and Chris had in mind for their special day. They wanted their wedding to be vibrant, fun, an expression of their joy for each other, and not overly formal. They decided against the traditional assigned seating arrangements and leaned toward several smaller sitting areas for guests to gather. They also set up a deck over the swimming pool so guests could dance the night away under the stars!

Real Wedding: Jennifer & John, Scripps Forum La Jolla

Every wedding is unique in their own way, however Jennifer and John's wedding was heavily inspired by their venue and the couples passion for dancing within the night life of San Diego. The couple experienced a picture perfect intimate wedding, with a sunset that most couples dream of. John Duran, the designer and groom, is an architectural graduate and a graphic artist for Duran Infinity Designs. His intent was to draw the scenic views of La Jolla Shores into the venue of the Scripps Forum by creating an aquatic theme that further enhanced the already apparent concept within this architectural gem. The enhanced lighting from the acrylic glowing tables and unique up-lighting showcased the already dramatic undulating wave-like ceiling. Jennifer and John glistened across the water and embraced this night life surf and turf. On November 7, 2010, the closest of family and friends were swept away by a wave of love!
