Details with a personalized touch make a wedding more your own. If you are having a beach, nautical or San Diego themed wedding, using shells and sea stars as special details is a must. To bring some extra glam and sparkle to your wedding day, all it takes is a little glitter to really make these details pop.
Materials Needed:
Glitter Finishing Spray - we used Recollections in gold (Michaels)
Extra Fine Glitter - we used Recollections in gold (Michaels)
To make these fun seashells, simply hold the glittering finishing spray 12" from the shells and spray an even coat of glitter over them. If you want to add even more sparkle, add the extra fine glitter while the spray is still wet. Be sure to protect your hands and the area you are spraying as the glitter spray is permanent.
The glitter shells and sea stars can be used in centerpieces, on place cards, at each table setting, tied to a chair sash, anywhere you want to add a little beachy glam to your wedding. These can also be tied with ribbon to make unique holiday ornaments.
