• Get as much done as you can beforehand by delegating tasks to family and friends so that you can relax and enjoy the wedding, and the fun filled days with family and friends leading up to the big day.

• When searching for the perfect location for your venue, come up with three “must haves” and three “can’t stands.”  This will help you figure out which venues to visit, and which to check off your list after you first make contact. After visiting 5 venues, re-evaluate those six items.  You may have discovered a few things that you didn’t know prior to your search that will sway things.

• Remember - everyone “knows what you should do” but that this is and will always be your wedding.  Make sure whatever you do, a smile is attached and you are happy with it.

• Ask Questions!  No question is ever stupid, and should be welcomed with open arms by your event professionals.  The more you know, the better you will feel.
