The Orfila Winery scenically sits within the San Pasqual Valley in Southern California and sets the stage for this stylized wedding shoot featuring some of San Diego’s finest wedding vendors. Combining elements of softness with pops of the bold; this shoot is a testament to vintage Hollywoodesque styled glamour and tradition. The dress, “Chantilly” by Claire Pettibone provided by The Dress Theory has a form-fitting bodice with delicate lace sleeves that lead to a show-stopping lace back. The dress is accented with a single strand of vintage pearls and a simple bouquet of astilbe to enhance the vintage Hollywood vibe of this gorgeous bride. With her hair swept half up with an intricate floral comb of ruby red succulents, her make-up by LC Bagley was kept subtle but for a statement making, deep burgundy lip to match the pops of boldness that appear throughout the wedding. The sweethearts dine al fresco amidst the vineyards at a family-treasured dining table set by Not My Dish with vintage table settings in peaches and golds. Candles set atop gold candlesticks set amongst the floral table runner from Breezy Day Florals. With hydrangeas, dahlias, garden roses and stock in shades of peaches and cream with a touch of gold, we again see the dramatic burst of dark burgundy peonies and amaranthus to add dramatic flare to the tablescape. A traditional buttercream cake from Jenny Wenny Cakes, along with delicious chocolate filled macaroons set on a vintage 3-tiered dessert tray; provide the perfect dessert for the guests as they sip on their wine and enjoy the beauty of the vineyards beyond. The newlyweds make their getaway in a classic 1961 Austen Healy; foregoing the traditional “Just Married” sign in favor of a lush garland of greenery, once again accented with the pale peach of Juliet Garden Roses and bold burgundy peonies.
