With an adorably in-love
couple, and THIS backdrop, the result is stunning!Shelby is a Navy
helicopter pilot, and Luke is an Air Force Contracting Officer. They met
back in day, when Luke did an exchange semester to the United States
Naval Academy, where Shelby just so happened to be. They soon fell in
love! He proposed on New Years on the pier by their favorite restaurant
in Pensacola, FL, where they were both living at the time. She obviously
said yes, which led to this dream wedding at the San Diego Zoo Safari
Park! They are both very laid back people, as well as outgoing, fun, and
share a love of exploring and traveling! Their wedding theme carried
that hobby of theirs, with a globe to sign, replacing the guest book.
Each guest also had little suitcase travel tags as their seat placers
for the reception. Their ceremony was held at the African Plains
Overlook, which literally was over looking the waterhole of the safari’s
large enclosure, filled with giraffes, water buffalo, rhinos, and many
more exotic animals from Africa. As the sun went down, the lions started
to roar as guests headed to the reception to dance the night away! What
a fun experience!! Congratulations to these two lovebirds, who
seriously giggled with excitement every time they looked over at each
other.
