10/16/2015 | Quail Haven Farm
The Battaglia's wedding was on a warm October day, with moody skies. Dana, the bride, is a wonderful woman, who I have been lucky enough to call my friend for many years. This particular wedding has taken me so long to finish editing because it's impossible to sum up how magical and wonderful her wedding day was.
Dana and Erik met on a date a few years ago, and were set up by friends. A chance meeting could not have been more fortuitous. These two are a perfect pair, and I now love Erik as his own wonderful individual person. When you meet your friends "person" it can be a scary thing. You want nothing but the best for them. But with Erik, I had nothing to worry about. He's kind and generous, and most of all, deeply in love with Dana.I won't go on and on, but this shoot will definitely go down as one of my all time favorite weddings!
From the sweet touches of DIY postcards and a gold mailbox, to the stunning gold details (plates, cutlery, etc), this day was a delight. They even had amazing responsibly sourced organic coffee and satchels of Lavender. With just around a hundred people at the wedding, it still felt like a small intimate gathering.
Quail Haven Farm is a stunning location, and it was such a treat to be able to be at the farm with all the beautiful horses.
