10/12/2014 | Los Willows Wedding Estate
Tara and Chole's goal was to have a timeless wedding that exemplified who they are as individuals and as a couple. They personalized every detail of the day and planned out several surprises to entertain both guests and bridal party. They wanted the day to be meaningful and fun, not just another "cookie-cutter" wedding. For instance, when Chole & the groomsmen were getting ready, they were surprised to find a private cigar station set up for them outside of the groom’s quarters. For ceremony, Tara fooled everyone (including her bridesmaids) by coming down the aisle in a white horse drawn carriage. This seemed to be the only way to go since the bride grew up riding horses! The lakeside ceremony was reminiscent of an English Garden with wrought iron arches and gates dripping with plush flowers and crystals. The altar had a beautiful chandelier and the aisle was lined with candelabras. While exchanging vows, Tara and Chole each released a white dove to symbolize their commitment. When pronounced “Mr. & Mrs.,” a flock of doves was released as a grand finale. The reception was elegantly adorned in champagne, gold, and ivory with dashes of mulberry throughout. The custom lighting enhanced the features of this venue and helped showcase the amazing crystal chandelier suspended over the dance floor.
