These two used inspiration from their own long-distance relationship and decorated their wedding reception with a love-letter theme using a navy blue and yellow color palette. They have lived apart since meeting in San Diego when they were 14, and continued their long distance relationship through letters (and of course Skype). Talk about an amazing love story! Sara decorated her tables with old candle-lit lanterns and heirloom love letters - written between her grandparents during the Korean War. These little authentic details were absolutely perfect! They also put out white lace tins filled with postcards for guests to write to the couple. The couple is planning to move to Tennessee together after the wedding, and their parents will be mailing them the postcards throughout their first year of marriage. Such a wonderfully unique idea! These two really chose the perfect venue. The North Chapel was an adorable ceremony location, and the Baja Room at Marina Village was perfect for accommodating a large reception! Guests enjoyed dinner & dancing with a gorgeous view of the sun setting over the San Diego bay. This is also the perfect place to get married if you want to make sure you get an epic sunset photo together!
