With over 11 years in the events industry, owner Cristina Burns opened Bridal Stop & Events with the intention to help couples have their dream wedding by providing resources, inspiration, and design. Cristina has an extensive background in events from weddings, sporting events, concerts, fundraisers, and even events with Elton John, Maroon 5, and Gladys Knight. Due to this experience, she is able to bring more than a creative eye to her weddings, but also an eye for detail, logistics, and most importantly making sure her clients are having fun!

Experienced, Fun, Personable
Why wedding and event planning? What about your career makes it worthwhile each day?
When I was in college, I studied to be a news journalist, while working full-time as an events coordinator. When I graduated, I thought I would start my career in news, however opportunities in events kept approaching me. I was given so many opportunities to grow, make myself well-rounded in the industry, and work with some big names, that I couldn't then pass up. I absolutely love what I do and find it incredibly rewarding knowing that I helped someone's dream come true. I was born to do this, and I'm blessed to be able to do so!
What is your favorite moment of the wedding, and why?
My all time favorite moment is just before the bride and her father walk down the aisle. The look on the father's face as he looks at his little girl is such a genuine moment. This moment is so special and I feel very blessed to be there witnessing these final moments before he gives her away.
How would you describe the Bridal Stop & Events experience?
I want all of my clients to walk away from their Bridal Stop & Events experience with memories they'll always cherish. I encourage my couples to have fun and to enjoy the planning process. I want my couples to know they are working with an experienced, professional wedding planner who will work hard for them to ensure they have the wedding they've always dreamt of.
Name one thing that sets Bridal Stop & Events apart from its competitors:
Our experience is what separates us from the rest. We're not only wedding planners, but I've worked as a venue coordinator, production coordinator, and as a catering manager so I am well-rounded in this field with an understanding of all departments involved.
What is one important piece of advice you would like to share with brides?
This is your moment... enjoy it with your fiancé and remember to have fun!
