2013 was our 10-year anniversary serving San Diego County and surrounding areas of Southern California. Our goal is to make your wedding event and the planning leading up to it fun, memorable, and most of all... stress free!

What services does Memories and Music Entertainment offer?
We only do weddings, so we are experts at it. It's our singular focus. We offer our wedding couples various packages to make their day memorable and special from basic DJ/MC services, to room enhancement/ special effect lighting, dance floor lighting, and even video projection and screening. We also offer ceremony services.
Want something creative for the day such as a custom Grand Entrance? We can do that for you as well. We offer our wedding clients customized entertainment choices to fit their particular needs for their special day.
What got you interested in the entertainment industry, and what is the most rewarding part of your job?
I started out as a radio DJ at WMEL in Melbourne, Florida, when I was 18 years old. I worked at KNLU Monroe, LA and KSMB K94 in Lafayette, LA. I came to San Diego and worked various clubs around town with a unique brand of bringing interactive entertainment to the club music scene. Not just playing music, I got people involved and interactive. In 1997, I switched to being a wedding DJ and found it to be incredibly rewarding to see those smiling faces on not only my wedding couple, but their guests and friends as well. It's a great feeling to be a part of such a once in a lifetime moment in time.
What's your favorite part or moment of the wedding, and why?
At the end of the evening, when I usually have some time to spend with the couple talking about their experience and seeing those big smiles and hear how much fun they had. They start their first day as husband and wife with so much fun!
How would you describe the Memories and Music Entertainment experience?
It's like having one of your best friends DJ your wedding. We get to know you throughout the planning process, so you get an event that's like Christmas, your birthday, 4th of July, and all the other fun holidays rolled into one!

Talking to your guests to make them feel at home. Our announcements throughout the day sound like a good friend talking to you and maybe even a sweet story to go along with it.

Putting the focus on where it should be. You! The whole day is about you and your day of love.
3. Tools
You have tools in your toolbox to fix things. Our tools are our experiences. We can see things in advance during the planning process so we can fix them before they even become a problem.
4. "Use It!"
Your special day is going to have moments that happen that are touching and heart-warming. We identify those things while they are happening and "Use it!" to make your day even more memorable.
We are the only DJs in San Diego that use these cornerstones and the reason is... we're the ones that developed them.
