Wedding Wednesday: Teresa & Thomas

12/12/2015  |  The Prado

The bridal party got ready at the mother of the brdie's house where the bride grew up in Carmel Valley and took photos in the neighborhood before the wedding ceremony at the church down the street. The bride and groom's first look was as Teresa walked down the aisle of the gorgeous church in a cathedral veil escorted by her mother. After the ceremony an Old Town trolley transported the wedding party to Balboa Park where they took portraits amidst San Diego’s historic Spanish-Colonial style locales and famous magnolia tree. The cocktail hour included gourmet Prado menu items, energetic mariachi music, and a live photo booth where a photographer shot stylized B&W portraits of each guest - a great keepsake for the guests as well as the couple. The courtyard and ballroom at the Prado were elegantly decorated with gold and sparkly wintery accents and personal touches unique to the couple. Breezy Day Weddings was able to beautifully merge the bride and grooms designs with the venue’s architecture and theme which gave the event a sophisticatedly lavish yet intimate feel. For their 1st dance the bride and groom performed a choreographed ballroom dance to “You are the Best Thing” performed by Sensations Showband. The 9-piece showband kept the party going all night! This was a very special celebration of love, faith, life, family, and friends.
