Why wedding and event planning? What about your career makes it worthwhile each day?
Growing up, I never dreamed of being a wedding and event planner - I actually thought I was going to be a pediatrician. As time went on, I started working in the event industry and really enjoyed seeing the whole occasion come together. I decided to study Hospitality and Tourism Management at San Diego State University and got my degree with an emphasis in meetings and events. From there, I realized that weddings were what really brought me joy. Seeing a couple's excitement and emotion fills me with happiness.
What's your favorite part of the wedding and why?
My favorite part of a wedding is seeing the couple lock eyes for the first time. Whether it is during a first look photo session or as she is walking down the aisle, it is always a magical moment.
How would you describe the Create Events experience?

What is one important piece of advice you would like to share with brides?
We think it is wonderful when couples are extremely involved in the planning process but we always recommend hiring a professional to assist them on at least the day of the wedding. It is too important of an occasion to worry or stress about what may happen on their big day. Don't rely upon close family and friends to execute your plans when you want them to be part of the wedding and enjoy it themselves.
